The Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan is participating in the “World Defense Show-2024” International Defense Exhibition organized for the second time in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
From the ministry Publika.azAccording to the information provided, the delegation headed by Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev is participating in the event.
It was reported that at the “World Defense Show-2024” exhibition, which was attended by more than 750 participants from more than 45 countries and 115 foreign representatives, 107 defense products manufactured in Azerbaijan were displayed at the stand organized by the Ministry of Defense Industry.
V. Mustafayev, who participated in the opening ceremony, met with the Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Khalid bin Salman Al-Saud, and conveyed his good wishes regarding the exhibition.
The minister got acquainted with defense products and new technologies displayed at the stands of institutions of Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
Within the framework of the visit, V. Mustafayev also met with the head of the Military Industrial Organization of Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Abdulaziz Al-Ohali. During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense industry were discussed and opinions were exchanged on issues of mutual interest.
It should be noted that the “World Defense Show-2024” exhibition, where the latest military technology, equipment and systems of defense industry companies are displayed, will end on February 8.
