Orkhan Namig oglu Zeynalov was appointed Deputy Minister of Energy by the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. On this occasion, the new deputy minister was introduced to the collective by the energy minister Parviz Shahbazov.

According to information, speaking at the meeting with the participation of the officials of the ministry and subordinate institutions, the minister drew attention to the tasks facing the Ministry of Energy and wished success to the newly appointed deputy minister and the team.
It should be noted that Orkhan Zeynalov graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 2002 and 2004. In 2003-2004, he received special diplomatic education at the Pakistan Foreign Service Academy, and in 2015, he received additional education at the Harvard Kennedy School. O. Zeynalov, who has held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2003, worked as the head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Energy in 2020-2022, and as the head of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2022-2024.
