Publika.az With reference to AZERTA, it is reported that the representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan have visited the territories of Aghdara, Kalbajar, Lachin, Shusha, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Zangilan, Jabrayil, Khojavend, Khojaly and Khankendi, which were liberated from occupation, to study the state of preparation for the elections. they inspected the polling stations. During the review, discussions were held with precinct chairpersons and members regarding the preparation for the elections.
All polling stations are equipped with the necessary technical and methodical means, fire safety, continuous communication and electricity for the election process to take place in fully transparent and democratic conditions. Voting booths were installed for citizens to make their choices freely, ballot boxes and necessary inventory equipment were distributed to polling stations, voter lists and information boards were hung. Ink and ultraviolet lamps and other necessary materials were brought to the polling stations. Places have been determined for the secretary and members, as well as observers who will monitor the election. In the territory of the polling stations, the appropriate places for conducting the pre-election campaign and placing the campaign materials on the boards have been determined.
Niyaz Aliyev, the Deputy Head of the Territorial-Organizational Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, said in an interview with journalists that after Azerbaijan has fully restored its state sovereignty, great preparations are being made in cities and regions for the first free, democratic and transparent organization of presidential elections in the entire territory of our country. . 6,319 polling stations have already been fully prepared for the elections. The installation of web cameras has been ensured in a thousand polling stations.
According to the instructions of the head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, we are in the territories freed from occupation and we are studying the state of preparation for the elections in these territories. 26 polling stations were organized in the liberated areas. About 22,000 voters were registered in these polling stations. 3700 of these voters moved to those areas for permanent residence. More than 18 thousand people are citizens working in construction work.
Together with the representatives of the Central Election Commission, we monitor polling stations. The material and technical supply issues of all polling stations have been resolved. Polling stations are provided with reliable communication and uninterrupted electricity. We can say with certainty that all conditions have been created for the citizens of Azerbaijan to vote comfortably in the territories freed from occupation as well as throughout the country. Elections will be held in a free, democratic and transparent manner,” said Niyaz Aliyev.
According to Ilgar Alizade, head of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission, high-level buildings have been allocated for polling stations in the liberated territories: “Each polling station is provided with necessary communication. The supply of the rooms where the polling stations are located has been completed. Uninterrupted supply of electricity to the stations is under control. As the Central Election Commission, we have provided the polling stations with the necessary equipment. The polling stations are equipped with ultraviolet lamps, voting booths, transparent ballot boxes, voter lists and other things that will be used on the election day.
