The next meeting of the working group on environmental issues of the Inter-Administrative Center, which operates under the Coordination Headquarters, was held in the city of Zangilan for the centralized resolution of issues in the territories freed from occupation.
Publika.az informs that the representatives of the relevant state institutions represented in the working group at the meeting and the special representation of the President in Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts included in the Eastern Zangezur economic region, the special representation of the President in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh economic region (except Shusha region), Eastern Representatives of the special representative office of the President in Lachin district, which is part of the Zangezur economic region, the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the Karabakh Economic Region, and the Restoration, Construction and Management Services No. 1 and 2 in the Eastern Zangezur Economic Region participated.
During the meeting, members of the working group and other invited institutions discussed the restoration and construction in Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, which are included in the Eastern Zangezur economic region, ensuring ecological stability during the implementation of projects, the works done in the field of forestry in Jabrayil district within the framework of Azerbaijan-Turkey cooperation, reconstruction works of drinking and waste water systems, prospects for the restoration of dams in Jabrayil district and their use in the management of water resources, achieving minimum impact on the environment during the implementation of road-infrastructure projects, provision of raw materials required for road construction works, organization of efficient use of mineral deposits , environmental assessment and greening projects in the liberated territories, demining activities, solid household waste management and environmental assessment of the projects implemented in East Zangezur economic district were discussed.

The issues of restoration and construction in the regions, ensuring environmental stability during the implementation of projects, solid household waste management in the liberated territories, restoration and reconstruction of the hydrometeorological observation network are discussed.
