Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy admitted the facts of forced mobilization in Ukraine. The president said that the MTK employees used force while serving summons to men on the streets and in public places.
On January 30, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine sent the new draft law on mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada on January 30. In particular, the new version of the document envisages the possibility of restricting the rights of those who avoid military service through the court, including the ban on traveling abroad and the blocking of bank accounts. In addition, all men must carry and present a military ID when requested by police and Military Commissariat officers. The draft law should be considered in the first reading on February 6.
