Oststeiermark (OTS) – On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, a delegation from the Highnesses of the Styrian Flower Route and the Eastern Styria Tourism Association brought floral greetings from the Eastern Styria adventure region. Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen warmly received the newly elected Floral Highnesses for two years in the Vienna Hofburg. State Governor Christopher Drexler invited people to Graz Castle and State Councilor Barbara Eibinger-Miedl to her office at Graz Nikolaiplatz. The focus of the exchange was on the latest developments surrounding the Styrian Flower Route and its tourist significance as a destination very close to Vienna and Graz.
The focus of the Eastern Styria adventure region this year is, among other things, on the topics of sustainability and the presentation of its five adventure routes, which include the Styrian Apple Route, Schlösserstraße, East Styrian Roman Wine Route, Street of Music and the Styrian Flower Route.
