Former biathlete Tomáš Krupčík (36) will soon start a new life stage. Together with her partner Jana Mrákotová (24), who used to ski jump, they are expecting an addition to the family. Fans learned the happy news on Instagram of the expectant mother.
Krupčík ended his professional career two years ago, and with a bachelor’s degree in coaching, he is most likely going to nurture other biathlon hopefuls. But now he faces a task that no school can prepare him for. He will become a father.
“We look forward to the next adventure with a new member of the team,” wrote Jana Mrákotová to the photo in which she is holding children’s shoes together with the European vice-champion.
However, the former skier’s pregnancy got in the way a little. “I wanted to announce the opening of a new massage parlor this year. So that dream is on hold for now as we look forward to the next adventure with a new team member.” she stated.
Although the birth of a child will be the greatest life achievement for the former biathlete, who dated Jessica Jislova, the native of Jablonec nad Nisou has already experienced a few of those sports. In addition to the silver medal at the European Championship, he won two more at the Universiade in Trento, Italy. He placed twelfth best in the World Cup races and also participated in the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi.
