Vaccinations against HPV, mumps-measles-rubella and COVID-19 from 4.3. until 8.3.

Vienna (OTS) As part of Women’s Week 2024, the City of Vienna is organizing vaccination offers that all Viennese can take advantage of. The city health department’s new mobile vaccination buses are used.

“In the large women’s survey ‘Vienna, the way she wants’, the Viennese wanted more low-threshold offers in the health sector. With the vaccination campaigns as part of the first Vienna Women’s Week, we are implementing this wish.”said Vice Mayor and Women’s City Councilor Kathrin Gaál.

“When we opened the new city health department, we promised to bring new mobile health services directly to your doorstep. The city health department’s new mobile vaccination buses will have their first major operations during Vienna Women’s Week 2024. I am very pleased to be able to implement this better quality and tailor-made service offering for the people of Vienna where they need it.”said City Councilor for Health Peter Hacker.

General information about the vaccination campaigns

No prior registration is necessary. Processing is based on the first come first serve principle. All of the above vaccinations are free of charge. In principle, people residing in Vienna are vaccinated. Ideally, please take the following things with you when you are vaccinated: photo ID to confirm your identity, vaccination certificate (if available) and an e-card (if available).

It is not necessary to fill out an information form in advance, there are enough available on site. If you do not have a vaccination certificate, there are sufficient international vaccination certificates available on site. After the vaccination, you will receive confirmation of the vaccination in the new vaccination certificate. If you don’t have an e-card, that’s no problem. In Austria, the above-mentioned vaccinations are not linked to the presence of an Austrian social security number. If you have an e-card, an entry is immediately made in the e-vaccination certificate. If you don’t have an e-card, an entry in the e-vaccination pass is unfortunately not possible.
