Azerbaijani and Iranian generals met – 2024-02-27 11:41:02

Deputy Rector of the National Defense University for Science – Rector of the Military Scientific Research Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in National Security and Military Sciences, Associate Professor, Major General Arif Hasanov, together with the delegation led by the head of the Higher National Defense University of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Major General Dr. Ismail He visited this country at the invitation of Ahmadi Muqaddam.

As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation visited Iran’s Higher National Defense University. Welcoming the guests, Major General I.A. Muqaddam said he was happy to see them in Iran. The delegation got acquainted with the scientific, educational and library base of the Iranian Higher National Defense University, and was presented with a briefing on the activities of the educational institution.

Major-General A. Hasanov expressed his gratitude for the invitation and the hospitality shown, and provided information about the history of the National Defense University, the main activities and structure of the military educational institutions under it.

In the meeting, the importance of mutual visits and such meetings was specially emphasized in terms of developing cooperation in the field of science and education.

Then the Azerbaijani delegation got acquainted with the exhibition where the military products produced by the Iranian Ministry of Defense were displayed.

Within the framework of the visit, the Command and Staff University of the Iranian Army and the International Cooperation Department of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces were also visited.

During the meetings, detailed views were exchanged between our countries on a number of issues of interest in the field of military education.
