This means that there is no specific treatment for the disease. Measles is a disease that usually does not require inpatient treatment and is treated by isolation at home. These patients are monitored by family health center doctors. Sometimes infected persons may experience complications of the disease. These include pneumonia, otitis media, intestinal complications, encephalitis, meningitis, etc. belongs to. In such cases, patients are admitted to the infectious disease departments operating in TABIB’s subordinate medical institutions and involved in treatment. I should also note that the treatment costs are paid within the framework of the compulsory medical insurance service envelope,” he said.

V. Gurbanov also said that 17 departments of infectious diseases in Baku city, two in Sumgait city, and 48 in the regions operate under TABIB, the number of beds is only up to 1400.

According to the head of the institution, according to the current information, the cases of infection are under control in all regions, Sumgait and the capital, there are enough empty beds in the departments of infectious diseases, all resources are available to manage complications and provide patients with medical care in case of need.
