“My heart is broken”: Nick Carter after the death of his brother Aaron

Aaron Carter was found dead at the age of 34 in his own home, in the city of Lancaster (United States).
The American singer Nick Carter, one of the members of the group Backstreet Boys, was “broken with pain” after the death of his little brother, Aaron, who was found dead last Saturday at his home in Lancaster, California.

“My heart is broken. Although my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never faded,” said the leader of the famous American “boy band” in an emotional message published on his Instagram account.

“I have always held on to the hope that, somehow, one day (Aaron) would want to walk a healthy path and finally find the help he so desperately needed,” added the “Everybody” singer when referring to the problems that his brother suffered.

The singer accompanied his message on the social network with some old photos with his deceased brother: “Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness are the real villains here.”

The Backstreet Boys leader said he will miss his “brother more than anyone will ever know.” I love you Chizz. Now you can finally have the peace that you could never find here on earth… I love you little brother », he concluded.

Carter’s death was confirmed by his brother’s representative to the American press. The body was found lifeless inside a bathtub in his home after having drowned.

Carter (Florida, 1987) began as an opening act for his brother Nick’s group at just 10 years old, publishing his first album, which bore his own name, at such a young age and turning it into a gold record.

Alcohol and marijuana caused his figure to be damaged, leading to him losing custody of his son Prince and entering various rehabilitation centers to try to overcome his addiction.

In addition, he also had family problems with Nick himself, who in 2019 filed a restraining order against him alleging that he threatened to kill his pregnant wife and son.

On the other hand, his older sister, Leslie Carter, died in 2012 from an overdose in New York at just 25 years old.
