Japan deployed fighter jets this Friday to monitor the flight of two Chinese H-6 bombers through a strait between the islands of Okinawa and Miyako, the Japanese Defense Ministry reported, cited by Reuters.

In addition, the Ministry reported that it detected a Chinese military drone and another “probably Chinese” unmanned device near the island of Yonaguni and Taiwan. He noted that a fighter plane from the Air Self-Defense Force was sent to escort these devices, which then headed towards the Chinese mainland.
