Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Information Secretary Maryam Aurangzeb said that PMLN and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) have agreed on the basic points of political cooperation in the interests of the nation and the country. Maryam Aurangzeb said there has been a political understanding between PMLN supremo Nawaz Sharif and MQM leaders. They have pledged to work together for the sake of the country and nation.
MQM-P party representatives visited Nawaz’s residence in Lahore on the invitation of PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif. The delegation was led by the convenor of the group. Khalid Maqbool. Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori was with Dr. Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal.
The PMLN delegation included Shahbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Maryam Aurangzeb and Rana Mashhood.

Maryam Aurangzeb said the political leaders assured each other about the overall political situation and the contacts made so far.
On the other hand, the country’s media The News quoted sources as saying that Shahbaz Sharif told party leaders that former President Asif Zardari had demanded that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari be made Prime Minister. In addition, PPP has also asked for the responsibility of several other important ministries.
It also said that the PPP is willing to form an alliance with Nawaz Sharif’s PMLN on the condition of making Bilawal the prime minister.
Shahbaz told the party leaders that Zardari had offered in return that the PPP would support the PMLN in forming the government in Punjab.
According to the report of PMLN sources, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with former President Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal on Friday night about the future alliance.
Party sources said on Saturday that the Center and Punjab discussed various options to form the future government.
