Noting the positive dynamics of rural population growth, the President pointed out that this situation should not negatively affect the quality of life of citizens. Particular attention was paid to the measures taken to solve the problem of three-shift schools and the discrepancy between the official population size and the actual number of residents of the locality.
– We know this problem well and are planning to build a school for 1,200 places in the village of Kosshy. The corresponding funds have already been allocated. This issue is under my control,” said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
He also added that, although according to statistics the village is designed to accommodate 16 thousand people, in fact more than 50 thousand live here.
“This puts a big burden on the social sphere of the region. We discussed this issue with the leadership of the region, and we will systematically resolve it,” said the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
