Can Indonesia follow the Chinese Thomas Team to the semifinals?

The Thomas China team managed to win a semifinal ticket after defeating defending champion India in the quarter-finals with a score of 3-1 on Thursday (2/5/2024).

Meanwhile, the Uber Indonesia team’s long wait of 14 years has paid off with the Uber team qualifying for the semifinals which will be held tomorrow. In the first session of the match, Gregoria managed to take a 1-0 lead over Thailand after winning two straight games against Ratchanok Intanon with a score of 22 21 : 20 18.

Uber cup team Apriyani/Fadia added points to Indonesia’s 2-0 after beating Kititharakul/Prajongjai in straight games. Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo closed the match sweetly and won 3-0 over Thailand. This result also ensures that the Indonesian team will qualify for the 2024 Uber Cup semifinals.
