On February 20, the family of Mr. Le Xuan Sau (41 years old, Luan Thanh commune, Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province) picked up the body of his daughter Le Thi Thuy Linh (21 years old) for cremation.
Ms. Linh was reported missing by her family on the 7th day of Tet after leaving the boarding house in My Dinh 1 ward (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi). Three days later, the victim’s body was found at a motel in Cau Giay district.

Journey through the night to find her missing daughter
After finishing 11th grade, due to family circumstances, Linh went to Hanoi to find a job, then managed a number of boarding houses. After the Tet holiday, on February 15, she and her roommate took the bus from Thanh Hoa to Hanoi and returned to work.
The next day, she wore a white shirt, gray skirt, rode a red Vision motorbike, and told her relatives to show guests the room. That same evening, her family lost contact with her.
“Before that, Linh was still texting and contacting everyone. After 7:00 p.m. on February 16, we could not contact Linh, the phone notified the subscriber,” Ms. Le Thi Oanh, the victim’s aunt, said. again.
At 11 p.m. on February 17, LA – Linh’s roommate – reported that she had not been able to contact the girl for more than a day. At this time, the family tried to call Linh but could not get through.

Worried that something bad happened, in the early morning of February 18, Mr. Sau and a few relatives traveled 200km from Thuong Xuan to Hanoi looking for his daughter. They reported to the local police and split up to the boarding houses managed by Linh to look for information.
Ms. Oanh said that through camera extraction, the last place Linh went to was a boarding house on Bui Xuong Trach street (Thanh Xuan district). The camera recorded that at 6:35 p.m. on February 16, the girl was wearing a pink jacket.
