A case has been filed against a housewife (45) by applying super glue to her eyes and face in Paikgacha, Khulna, and robbing her of gold earrings. At the same time, the police arrested and interrogated a person named Samad on suspicion of involvement in the incident.
Obaidur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Paikgacha Police Station said, ‘A case has been filed in this incident on Tuesday (February 13) night. The victim’s husband filed the suit as the plaintiff. It talks about gang rape of housewives. After this case, a person named Samad has been arrested suspiciously and is being interrogated.
The housewife said to the media persons, “I fell asleep after eating on the night of February 11. Then I don’t know anything else. Now I see that my ears are torn. Who took the earrings? But there was 6 thousand rupees in the bag, that money is there. There was nothing in the throat.’
The victim’s daughter said, ‘Mother has been talking since morning. But he can’t remember anything.’
It is to be noted that on Monday (February 12) morning, the housewife’s neighbor rescued her with glue on her eyes and face and admitted her to the hospital. Later, doctors removed the glue from his eyes and mouth. Hospital authorities conduct necessary tests to collect evidence of rape. Currently, he is undergoing treatment in the surgery department of Khulna Medical College (Khumek) Hospital.
On the night of February 11, thieves entered her house to steal and stuck the woman’s eyes and face with super glue and raped her and stole her house.
