Used cars: what were the 10 best-selling models during January

January sales of used cars had a year-on-year drop of more than 12%, according to the Automotive Chamber of Commerce. In this panorama, La Rioja was the province in which the lowest sales were reflected and Catamarca was the one that achieved the best results.

Among the 116,135 vehicles whose transfers were made in January, some models stood out. In total, six brands were on the podium, with Volkswagen at the top, as it did months ago, and with three Ford models among the most marketed.

Alejandro Lamassecretary of the CCA, expressed that in a context with “lack of prices for the same 0km product (due to modification of a tax base for the calculation of internal taxes) and in the face of generalized inflation in the economy,” used cars “have known find a price that the market was willing to pay.

The provinces in which the most transfers were verified were, in descending order, Buenos Aires -39.14%-, Córdoba -11.52%-, Santa Fe -8.10%-, Mendoza -5.09%- and Entre Ríos -4.15%-.
