After consideration, the jury sentenced Le An to life in prison for the crime of “Murder”, forcing the defendant to compensate the victim’s family for funeral expenses and mental losses in the amount of 300 million VND, as well as alimony. Supporting the victim’s child is 1.5 million VND/month until the victim is 18 years old. The jury sentenced defendant Ngo Duc Minh to 2 years and 6 months in prison for the crime of “Intentionally causing injury”.
According to the indictment, at about 11 a.m. on August 5, 2023, Le An was working at TK Karaoke restaurant (address 733 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Xuan Ha ward, Thanh Khe district) when Huynh Dinh V. (Hoa Minh ward, Thanh Khe district) Lien Chieu, Da Nang City), a karaoke guest, went to the cashier to pay and asked An to reduce the room fee, but An did not agree, so the two sides argued.
On the afternoon of August 5, 2023, V. called Ngo Duc Minh to invite him to beat someone. V. drove a motorbike to take Minh home. On the way, Van gave Minh a knife, Minh hid the knife behind his back.

After that, An continued to hold the knife. Stabbed repeatedly, causing the victim to die on the way to the emergency room.
