This Monday, February 19, a hearing was held to extend the preventive detention that two Rojas brothers are serving (Jessica Paola and Lucas Sebastian), accused of the crime of homicide aggravated by the premeditated participation of two or more people, and for the use of a firearm, as co-authors, an event that occurred on December 30, 2022 in the Juan XXIII neighborhood of this capital city. .
The assistant prosecutor, Julieta Molé, following instructions from Ignacio López Bustos, head of the Homicide Prosecutor’s Unit I, pointed out that there are pending measures due to the recent capture of another of the brothers, German Alberto Rojas nicknamed “Chema” on January 30. On that occasion, in the raid carried out on a home in the 2 de Septiembre neighborhood of Yerba Buena, a motorcycle and two cell phones were seized. Next, the MPF representative requested that the preventive detention for the brothers (Jessica and Lucas) be extended for a period of three months.
“At a hearing on October 11, last year, the case was described as a complex matter. And when the man nicknamed Chema was arrested on January 30, a motorcycle and two cell phones were seized, for which we have an appointment on February 22 for data extraction and subsequent analysis. “It is transcendental evidence to determine conversations and the possibility of other co-defendants,” argued Molé. Finally, the acting judge decided to partially grant what was requested and ordered the measure for 60 days for the woman (who must undergo a Medical Board) and for the man for a period of 20 days. Meanwhile, the defense had requested house arrest.
The theory of the case

Carrying firearms and acting in a joint, coordinated and premeditated manner, they fired several shots at the victim, who tried to flee along Alberti Street to 1300, receiving a hit in the lower back area.
