The champions of the U23 national camp

The list of four players for the African Games will be released this week after the detection tournament held in Vontovorona.

LesJoanie Anyssa Rakotonanahary, Maya Stéphanie Nirinaharisoa, Setratiana Eulalie Manohisoa and Tojotia Fanantenana Harilalao of the Liberty Analamanga team won the final victory at the “Street to Gold” 3 x3 inter-regional basketball tournament which ended yesterday . This national 3×3 basketball camp saw the participation of young girls under 23 from many regions of the country. At the end of two days of competition on the CNaPS sports facilities in Vontovorona, the Analamanga team won by 18 to 8 against the team of Tamifa Amoron’i Mania. Boeny’s team finished on the podium by beating the Vakinankaratra team in the small final by 17 to 16. All participants were satisfied with the experience because the program was adapted specifically to the U23 girls’ level. In addition to the matches, they benefited from sharing experiences from seniors and learning to better work on individual and collective fundamentals. 84 young players and regional 3×3 basketball coordinators gathered for three days in Vontovorona. Four places for the U23 national team for the African Games are at stake during these two days. The list will be known this week and only the best will travel to the Ghanaian capital from March 8 to 28. This “De la Rue Vers l’Or” project is supported by the French Embassy as part of the organization on French soil of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Everyone is satisfied and wants more to raise the level of basketball 3×3 women’s.
