Charles Leclerc has signed a new long-term contract with Scuderia Ferrari. The length of his contract was not disclosed, but he will remain with Ferrari’s F1 team “for the next few seasons.” Late last year, it was rumored that Leclerc would sign a five-year contract with Ferrari until 2029. Now, Ferrari has revealed that Leclerc will remain with the team for several years after his current contract expires at the end of the season F1 2024.
The announcement did not specify how many years Leclerc’s new contract would last. Leclerc’s relationship with Ferrari dates back to 2016, when he entered Ferrari’s Driver Academy. He has won titles in GP3 (now Formula 3) and Formula 2, and moved to F1 in 2018 via Ferrari client Sauber.
