The Arab Foundation for Studies and Publishing in Beirut published two new books on novel criticism by the Lebanese poet and writer Salman Zein al-Din. The first is entitled “At the Guidance of the Arab Narrator” and includes a reading of fifty Arab novels, from various countries of the Arab world, and combines, but is not limited to, novels by: Ahmed Al-Madini of Morocco, Amir Taj Al-Sir of Sudan, Amin Al-Zawi of Algeria, and Bassem Khandakji of Palestinians. , Jabour Al-Duwaihy of Lebanon, Khaled Sameh of Jordan, Rasha Adly of Egypt, Shukri Al-Mabkhout of Tunisia, Mona Al-Tamimi of the Emirates, Nabil Suleiman of Syria, and others.

The second is entitled “Under the protection of the foreign narrator” and includes a reading of thirty novels translated into various foreign languages, from various countries of the world, and combines, but is not limited to, novels by: the Irish Adrian McEntee, the Turkish Elif Shafak, the Russian Andrei Glasimov, and Andre Ukrainian Kokotyukha, Italian Enrico Galliano, French Jean-Marc Moura, British Jean-Marie Leclezio, Argentine Roberto Arlt, American Stephen King, South Korean Sun Mi Hwang, Japanese Haruki Murakami, and others.
