The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority announced the winners of the cooking competition in its eighth edition within the Bahrain Food Festival 2024, which is currently being held at Marassi Al Bahrain in Diyar Al Muharraq.

The authority indicated that the jury, consisting of Chef Suzimasiti, Chef Anisa Al-Hawaj, and Chef Youssef Hamouda, selected the winners for first and second place from among 16 participating restaurants. “Qyoza” restaurant won first place, and “Balila Station” restaurant won second place.

On this occasion, Ms. Sarah Buhiji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, said: “We congratulate the two restaurants that won the cooking competition, which aims to add more enthusiasm and joy to the atmosphere of the festival in its edition this year, and contributes to encouraging the hospitality and restaurant sector to present their best, and helps discover and honor Bahraini talents in the festival.” The field of cooking, and it also contributes to supporting Bahraini entrepreneurs working in this field.”
