Juan Alfonso RP was a nursing assistant who died after a patient attacked. The man was 52 years old and, when he was assisting a subject, he grabbed him by the shoulders and later kicked him between his legs.
The blow was so strong that the nursing assistant collapsed and a nurse Hospital Fundación Instituto San José assisted him.
However, the assistance of his partner did not detect any major problem, because after several minutes of fainting, the man reacted. But, hours later he died.
After his death, a union of health workers denounced the incident and stated that there was no protocol to assist their colleague.
