Craftsmanship creates beautiful things, it is regional and sustainable. This statement is hardly as true as the Hand.Werk.Haus Salzkammergut in Bad Goisern, where around 30 master craftsmen present themselves impressively. The meeting began with an exclusive tour of the exhibition with historian Mag.a Barbara Kern, who has passionately looked after the Hand.Werk.Haus association since its founding. The entrepreneurs then had the opportunity to work as craftsmen themselves.
With master florist Irmgard Gamsjäger, Naturwerkstatt, we had to create a winter decoration FROM (FH) Michael Körner, MedienAtelier, to obtain a folder with high-quality binding material using the equipment of a bookbindery. The workshops were also used by the participants to exchange ideas and network. The opportunity to go “late night shopping” in the Hand.Werk.Haus shop, where one or two items found a new, happy owner, was particularly enjoyable. (Photos © WKO)
