Sources from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation explained to Hesport that the FRMF has not yet reached any decision from the Confederation of African Football regarding the match between Nahdet Berkane and the Algerian team USM.

In turn, sources from within the managerial office of Nahdet Berkane indicated that they had not yet reached the CAF decision, noting that local and Arab media sources reported that the guardian continental body decided to consider USMA defeated by three goals to zero in the first leg of the semi-final match.

The Algerian Al-Hadaf channel shared the news of CAF’s decision to consider USMA Algiers defeated in the match.

It is worth noting that the match between RS Berkane and its host USM Algiers did not take place due to the Moroccan team not being able to wear its official shirts after they were detained by the customs authority at Houari Boumediene Airport, because they carried a map of Morocco on their chest.
