The MP was arrested at his home

The day after the district office and the Ceni in Tsihombe (Androy) were burnt down, armed security forces arrived at the house of MP Masy Goulamaly Marie Jeanne d’Arc. He was picked up at the scene and immediately taken to the office for questioning. Of course, the reason for this is the burning of the government building and the electoral commission building. This deputy who is still in office did not deny his arrest, but he reminded the gendarmes, police and many soldiers about the “parliamentary immunity” that came to pick him up. “I am still a member of parliament and I still enjoy the legal rights related to ‘parliamentary immunity’,” he explained to them. However, this did not stop the security officers who came to carry out the order. Masy Goulamaly is an independent MP and was close to the ruling party during his time in Tsimbazaza. Later, however, he established the political party AMM (Avotantsika Miaraga I Madagascar) and this is the color he used as a deputy candidate in the last election. In his media appearance, this MP did not hesitate to criticize the current situation. He was one of the many who followed because of his courage to speak frankly. But of course there were those who were unhappy and seemed to be just waiting for the odd turn to strike fire. Politics in this country is always like that…
