The promulgation of the law that authorizes the extraordinary withdrawal of Pension funds has been well received by members of the Private Pension System (SPP)who are awaiting the operating procedure established by the Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS). The deadline for the regulation of the seventh withdrawal AFP in 2024 expires on May 3, as provided by the Parliamentin the «Final Complementary Provision» from Law No. 32002.
After the approval of the Law No. 32002 On April 11, the official statement of the SBS about the start of applications. The regulations, detailed in A Peruvian man, establishes that the beneficiaries may receive up to S/20,600 in four fleets, once the SBS post the details of the operating procedure.
First army: – S/5,150 on June 5
Second army: – S/5,150 during the first half of July
Third Army: – S/5,150 during the first half of August
Fourth army: – S/5,150 during the first half of September
It should be noted that pension fund withdrawals for this seventh occasion will also maintain their intangible status.
Likewise, members will have 90 calendar days to make requests, which may be made physically or virtually. The first disbursements, equivalent to 4 OUTwill be held on different dates between June and September.
It is important to highlight that withdrawals from pension funds will maintain their intangible status, as established by law.
On the other hand, the SBS offers services to verify membership in a AFP, where workers can find out the status of their contributions and the entity that manages their funds.
