The promulgation of the Ley 32002 On April 18, it allowed members of the Private Pension System AFP in Peru make a withdrawal of up to four tax units (UIT), equivalent to S/20,600.

In Peru, the four AFPs that manage the pension funds are Prima, Integra, Habitat and Profuturo. To determine which AFP you are affiliated with, you can use the online service provided by the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS).

Below we indicate the consultation process

1. Visit the SBS service portal online: https://servicios.sbs.gob.pe/serviciosenlinea.
2. Select the ‘AFP affiliation report’ option.
3. Enter the type and number of your identity document, as well as the password for your SBS account.
4. Once the above steps are completed, your membership details will be displayed.

How to register in an AFP?

1. Access the link: SBS online services.
2. Read and accept the terms and conditions offered by SBS.
3. Complete the registration form with the type and number of your identification document, as well as an email address.
4. SBS will send a verification code to the email provided.
5. Use the code received to complete other required procedures and finish registration.

Once the registration process is complete, you will be able to make the query and confirm which AFP you belong to safely and efficiently through the SBS online platform.

Regarding the start of the withdrawal of funds in 2024, the resolution will come into force on May 20 of that year. As established, the AFPs must make the first disbursement to members before June 14, 2024. However, these entities must publish their own schedules.
