The event took place on October 17th and 18th, 2023 AMS The apprenticeship fair took place for the 11th time and – as in previous years – was once again very well attended and a success across the board.
Over 40 companies presented themselves with more than 70 apprenticeships as well as current developments and trends in the respective industry at the annual apprentice fair. The AMS With the trade fair, Gmunden enables schoolchildren and interested adults to easily get to know the professionals from local companies.
In recent years, numerous apprenticeship contracts have followed as a result of the discussions held. “We have promised both students and companies an opportunity to connect apprenticeship seekers and apprenticeship companies in the district, true to the AMS motto ‘We connect people and work’,” says Leopold Tremmel, office manager AMS Gmunden and Peter Plank, Head of Service for Companies.
The students, parents and teachers were impressed by the amount of apprenticeships and information about the different companies in the district. The companies showed their best side with full commitment and impressive exhibition stands. The evening session for interested parents and adults interested in teaching was also widely used.
