Sinovac Biotech (Bangladesh) Limited has given 19 thousand 975 different types of kits for blood tests to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
On Wednesday (March 6) morning, the managing director of Sinovac Biotech Limited, Qichao Zhang, BSMMU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Sharfuddin handed over the kits to Ahmed.
According to BSMMU, the blood test kits include HBsAg, HCV, HIV, Malaria, Syphilis and ABO blood group testing kits.
BSMMU Vice Chancellor said this is the beginning of relationship between BSMMU and Sinovac. We sincerely thank Sinovac Biotech (Bangladesh) Limited for today’s generous donation.
He said, these kits will help us fulfill our mission and make a positive impact by providing blood transfusion services to the underprivileged people of our society. We hope Sinoback will continue such support and cooperation to contribute to public health services in Bangladesh in the future.
Sinovac Biotech Limited Managing Director Qichao Zhang said, Sinovac has handed over various blood test kits today. The number of blood test kits donated may seem small, but we believe the impact is immeasurable. To build a healthy nation, BSMMU and Sinovac have embarked on a new journey.
