According to Seznam Zpráv, the detectives came to the conclusion after their investigation that they found no evidence that Mynář had committed anything illegal. Therefore, the cases have been adjourned without authority. Others they are investigating relate to the transport of tree seedlings to Mynář’s land by a castle vehicle and game hunting in Lánská obóra.
In one of the postponed cases Mynář had a party tent belonging to Prague Castle brought from the capital to his ski slope in Osvětimany in the Uherskohradišť region. He stated that he had paid for the loan and the transport, but then it turned out that he could not do this, because the Castle had not yet issued an invoice, Seznam Zprávy wrote earlier.
The case in which Mynář took jewelry and other valuable goods worth about half a million crowns from the castle’s donation warehouse was also postponed. However, there was a lack of documents where these items subsequently ended up.
The police did not find anything illegal either in the case of a villa in Lány that was rented by the former head of the Lány Forestry Administration, Miloš Balák. He paid 6,300 crowns per month for a villa with 21 rooms, Seznam Zprávy reported.
Just before he left his directorship at the end of 2022, his subordinate extended his lease until 2025. Balák was fired from the villa last May after the inauguration of President Petr Pavel. He filed a lawsuit against her, which he eventually withdrew, stating that his lease in the building had ended.
The fourth case concerns a situation where, according to the documents, the Castle paid 1.1 million crowns for the purchase of bottles of plum wine for representational purposes to the Zlín car service, which did not have a license to sell alcohol. One bottle without a stamp cost about 3,000 crowns. Even here, the NCOZ did not find anything criminal, Seznam Zpravy stated.
