Quota 241,000 people pilgrims in the Hajj season 1445 Hijri/2024 AD became the largest in the history of maintenance pilgrimage in Indonesia. Of the quota of 241,000 people, there are 213,320 regular Hajj pilgrims and 27,680 special Hajj pilgrims.

“So, this year, God willing, will be the biggest in the history of the Indonesian Hajj,” said the Director of Domestic Hajj Services at the Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah Organizing Ministry of Religion Saiful Mujab during a presentation at the 2024 PPIH Saudi Arabia Technical Guidance at the Pondok Gede Hajj Dormitory, East Jakarta, Sunday (24/3/2024).

Of the total quota of 241,000 Hajj pilgrims will be divided into 554 flying groups (kloter). The plan is that every day there will be 18-19 groups per day. The first batch of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims is planned to be held on May 12 2024. “The number is very large. We have never experienced this before. We will do our best to serve Allah’s guests this year,” said Saiful.
