Miss Universe Pakistan Erica Rabin and Miss Universe Bahrain Lujan Yaqoob have been appointed as Halal Food Tourism Ambassadors in the Philippines.
The decision was announced by the Philippine Department of Tourism during a news conference in Makati City on Saturday, which was attended by Queen Hassan of Pakistan and Bahrain. The two ladies have arrived in the Philippines to prepare for the 72nd Miss Universe Pageant which will be held on November 18, 2023 in El Salvador.
The Philippine Department of Tourism and San Benito Farm are working together to promote halal food and healthy tourism campaigns.

Both queens were also invited to the Philippines to support the tourism department’s campaign and the Filipino wellness brand and halal food tourism.

24-year-old Erica Robin is a Pakistani fashion model from Karachi. She belongs to the Christian community and advocates for education and women empowerment.

The first runner-up of the Miss Universe Pakistan pageant was 28-year-old Jessica Wilson, a cyber security engineer by profession. The other three finalists included Malaika Alvi, Sabrina Wasim and 24-year-old Hira Inam.
