The bride’s name is L. (18 years old, from My Phu commune, Chau Phu district, An Giang) and the groom’s name is H. (19 years old, from Tinh Bien, An Giang) and they met each other while working as workers away from home. Recently, the two held a wedding in their hometown of An Giang.

On April 28, Mr. H. went to the bride’s house in Chau Phu (An Giang) to help the family for the wedding reception the next day. That afternoon, he and his two children went to the river in front of the bathroom and drowned.
While Mr. H.’s family took Mr. H. back to Tinh Bien (An Giang) to take care of the funeral, the bride’s family decided to host a party of about 15 tables.

The bride’s family shared on social networks: “The number of banquet tables has been booked, invitations have been sent to each house to invite guests. The food and drinks that have been ordered cannot be returned. Meanwhile, the family is also in too much trouble if they do not have a party. After the incident, the debt will go bankrupt. That amount of money is too large compared to the family’s current difficult life. When deciding to have a family party, I feel very guilty, but the situation is too difficult, what should I do now?”
Talking to Bao Bao reporters, a neighbor of the bride said that everyone felt sorry for the miserable couple, the bride was still too young and her family was also facing difficulties. Before this incident, guests still came to encourage the family to overcome this great pain.
Another person added: “When the incident happened, the bride and her parents went to the groom’s house to take care of the funeral. I feel sorry for the groom’s family because it is so pitiful.
