The Indian-made 155mm/52 Artillery Systems (ATAGS) recently acquired by Armenia have been upgraded by Indian arms manufacturer Bharat Forge for ease of use.

This was reported by the “Indian Defense Research Wing” with reference to the director of the company Baba Kalyani.

Ballistic computers with a simplified interface have been installed in the artillery complexes, which reduce the probability of errors in artillery calculations.

Ballistic computers also provide integration with ground navigation systems, allowing for more accurate targeting.

According to the source, the ATAGS could be adapted to connect to Armenia’s satellite system, which could allow for even more advanced targeting capabilities. By customizing the ATAGS interface and integrating navigation, India demonstrates its commitment to providing user-friendly and adaptable military solutions to partner nations.
