But I am not in favor of increasing seats if there is no quality teacher or someone to give training. When I see there are quality doctors, good study environment, good quality doctors, then I will increase the seat.
In response to a question about the closure of illegal clinics, the minister said, “I have said earlier that they should be closed.” But of course they should be monitored and then closed. Bangladesh is a huge place, it will not be possible if only the Ministry of Health tries. Members of parliament, upazila chairman, vice chairman or union leaders will also visit the hospitals.
