There has been a disaster on the social media Facebook around the world. Facebook users are automatically logged out of their accounts due to a technical error. Users are facing this problem on Facebook’s messenger, smartphone and tab apps and websites.
According to the Down Detector website, more than 44,000 users reported problems logging into Facebook in just 30 minutes from 9:00 PM Bangladesh time (March 5) (10:00 AM Eastern Time).
Many people have been able to login to Facebook around 10:30 PM in Bangladesh. But many were facing problems using Messenger and Instagram.

Many have reported that when they try to login again, Facebook tells them that their password is incorrect. Some are getting the same message even after changing the password.
This outage has occurred in various countries of the world including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Argentina, Japan.
Users are also reporting issues with search and other issues on Meta-owned Instagram. According to Reuters, WhatsApp Business’ programming interface is also facing some complications, as seen in the Matter Status dashboard.
On social media X, many people are expressing their frustration with Facebook accounts. The hashtag #FacebookDown is trending on X.
The debacle has raised concerns among Facebook-centric businesses. Facebook has an important role in global communication including marketing.
The outage of Facebook, Instagram came ahead of Wednesday’s deadline for Apple, Google and tech giants including Meta to comply with the European Union’s new digital markets law. This law is designed to increase competition in the digital economy. By law, companies must adjust the way they present their products to consumers. So that small competitors can reach the users of the companies.
Secretary General of Bangladesh International Internet Gateway (IIG) Forum Ahmed Junayed told Bangla Tribune, ‘This is Facebook’s global problem. This has not only happened in Bangladesh, it has happened worldwide. This is a major disaster.’
He advised Facebook users not to panic.
