After 10 days of premiere, the movie “Peach, Pho and Piano” had a sudden increase in ticket bookings. Accordingly, from noon February 19 to the morning of February 20, the website of the National Cinema Center was still not accessible normally.
Up to now, the film directed by Phi Tien Son has earned nearly 400 million VND. The number of tickets sold on February 19 was more than 3,300 tickets, with 18 screenings.
Director of the Cinema Department Vi Kien Thanh said, “Peach, Pho and Piano” along with “The Red Lady” and 6 other animated films are the first films in the pilot project to exploit commercial theaters for cinemas. State-owned films are funded by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The Cinema Department has proposed to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to release “Peach, Pho and Piano” nationwide.
