The People’s Committee of Me Linh district will organize a third auction for 19 residential land plots at the technical infrastructure construction project at the land use rights auction in Chu Tran village with a starting price of 23 million VND/m2. This is the land that at the previous auction, an individual paid up to 4.28 billion VND/m2 due to mistake.
Me Linh District People’s Committee said that the unit will coordinate with Vietnam Auction Partnership Company to continue to receive auction documents for land use rights at the project to build technical infrastructure at the land auction of land use rights in Ho Chi Minh City. Chu Tran village (Tien Thinh commune, Me Linh district).
Accordingly, the auctioned land plots in rows LK2 and LK3 have an area from 90m2 to 101m2, with a total of 19 plots of land. The lowest starting price is from 23 million VND/m2 and the highest is 30 million VND/m2.
The auction will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 16, 2024 at the Hall of the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Me Linh district.
This is the third time the unit has organized an auction of land plots in this project area.

Previously, on January 30, 2024, Me Linh District Land Fund Development Center coordinated with Vietnam Auction Partnership Company to organize an auction of land use rights for 47 plots of land in Chu Tran village. , Tien Thinh commune (phase 2).
Accordingly, land plots have an area from 90m2 to 123.70m2 with starting prices from 20.4 million/m2. The form of auction for each plot of land is direct secret voting in 1 round (1 round) according to the method of bidding up and opening public ballots.
As a result, after nearly 3 hours of public auction, 47 plots of land were successfully auctioned with prices ranging from 20.6 to 56.1 million VND/m2. The total auction winning amount was over 136 billion VND, a difference of more than 23 billion compared to the starting price.
In particular, at this auction, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung paid 4.28 billion VND/m2 for a 102m2 plot of land. However, Mr. Tung later applied to withdraw the deposit due to a mistake in bidding. After the meeting, the People’s Committee of Me Linh district agreed to return the deposit to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung.
