Three first-class companies were awarded the coveted Julius Award in the Gmunden district.
Die Pizzeria Capri im Gmundner SEP has established itself as a culinary institution in Gmunden. Martin Ettinger, WB district chairman and WB chairman Dominik Premm presented the award after a lunch together. The Pizzeria Capri has been enriching the cityscape of Gmunden for four decades and is particularly known for its original Italian wood-burning oven. The Arefnia family and their dedicated employees spoil their guests with freshly baked pizzas, tasty salads and an extensive selection of popular Italian dishes.
An innovative catering company was also honored in Laakirchen. “The Fiaker” in the center of the city is a popular meeting place for all ages. The operator Tom Weber is a driving force in the catering industry and has successfully turned the Fiaker into a gourmet hotspot. The Fiaker describes itself as a place that focuses on excess, uncompromising honesty and a pinch of free spirit when it comes to cuisine.
Also from Laakirchen, but belonging to a different industry, the company Fürtbauer Spengler und Dachdecker GmbH was recognized for its services by the Economic Association. WB chairman from Laakirchen, Karl Sonnleitner and WB district chairman Martin Ettinger praise the company: “Fürtbauer stands for traditional and innovative craftsmanship. It is a local master company that operates close to the customer.” Fürtbauer has already received the federal coat of arms for special services from the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economic Affairs. The award is based on the trade regulations and particularly emphasizes innovative strength and sustainable business.
