Brussels dressed in rainbow colors for ten days for Pride Festival (Brussels)

Brussels Pride has announced its program for this year’s edition. The Pride itself takes place on Saturday, May 18, but the Brussels Pride Week is organized in the capital in the days before. Several buildings in the Brussels Capital Region will be illuminated and decorated in the colors of the rainbow flag.

The official start of the Brussels Pride Week is on Wednesday, May 8 at the House of Cultures in Molenbeek from 3 p.m. Concerts, screenings, performances and workshops will take place throughout the region for ten days. Several meetings with European delegations will also take place.

The Pride itself will take place on Saturday, May 18. The parade will depart from the Kunstberg through the capital from 2 p.m. As part of the Belgian presidency of the Council of Europe, Brussels Pride has invited the organizers of the Europride in Thessaloniki to participate in the march this year.

Manneken Pis

Various performances and DJ sets will take place on the stage on the Kunstberg, including MUSTII, Alice on the Roof, Gustaph, the dance trio Trinxx, AZO and RAQL.

Several buildings in the Brussels Capital Region will be illuminated and decorated in the colors of the rainbow flag. Manneken Pis will also wear his specially designed costume for the occasion.
