Some national clubs in the first “professional” division continue to drown in a sea of problems that do not even befit the amateur divisions. This raises big question marks about the criteria by which some presidents are placed at the top of the pyramid in national clubs with great historical reference, without providing any significant addition.

While the Moroccan fans were waiting for this weekend’s matches to follow their favorite clubs, the Youssoufia Berrechid team caught everyone’s attention after its players refused to travel to Tetouan to face “Al-Mat” in protest of their late dues, before retreating and departing to Tetouan.

Shabab Mohammedia players also left the residence hotel hours before facing the Tawarka Union, demanding that their financial dues be paid. This confirms the seriousness of the problems that the national clubs are experiencing.

In this regard, the national framework, Saeed Rizki, said in a statement to “Hesport”, that “such problems do not only offend, but rather ‘kill the desire’ of the players to do their duty with their clubs.”

The aforementioned national framework added: “The problems of the national clubs need an urgent diagnosis from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, and a real clean-up by removing some presidents who have nothing to offer their clubs.”

The same spokesman concluded: “The Moroccan Professional League is in dire need of athletes in management and people with the skill in management and management,” stressing that “this is a major workshop and it is time to work on it with great care, and our country is on the verge of major demonstrations.”
