The Ministry of Justice is moving to the digital age to better respond to the grievances and expectations of the people.

“Judge, answer my prayer”

It is the digital platform which is intended, as its name indicates, to collect the grievances of litigants concerning legal and prison matters. The official opening ceremony of this online platform took place yesterday at the Ministry of Justice in Faravohitra.

Good governance

“Today’s date has a special character for Justice”, noted Minister Landy Mbolatiana Randriamanantenasoa in front of an audience composed mainly of heads of Court and Tribunal as well as senior officials of her department. The opportunity for the government member to recall that “one of the regime’s priorities is good governance which involves the use of digital technology which is a tool used to strengthen transparency and fight against corruption”.

Credible justice

By moving into the digital age, the objective is to “establish a credible justice system that respects human rights and restore the confidence of the Malagasy people in the judicial system.” And obviously to restore the image or rather the dress of the magistrates. The minister also emphasizes the need for Justice to get closer to the people “for the search and manifestation of truth”.
