The deputy for the Arica and Parinacota region, Enrique Lee confirmed the presentation of the bill for a seventh withdrawal of Pension Fund Insurers, AFP in the Chamber of Deputies. This initiative, which was introduced this Wednesday, consists of a motion that authorizes workers to withdraw 15% of the funds accumulated in their individual capitalization accounts for free use.
In addition, a complementary project was introduced that allows the withdrawal of up to 50% of funds exclusively for housing purposesspecifically for “the acquisition of the first home,” as the parliamentarian explained.
The seventh withdrawal proposal, being a constitutional reform project, It does not require an admissibility procedure and is already in the Chamber.
The deputy added that this withdrawal implies “withdrawing something that is yours, but you are not going to waste it or waste it, but rather you are going to use it to pay the savings required by the Housing Subsidy or part of the foot payment. With this we will arrive to the well-being of the third and fourth age“.
The motion is expected to be discussed starting in the first week of June, after the rejection of the sixth withdrawal almost a year ago.

This would mean that citizens could request money from their pension funds without the need for a new discussion in Congress each time, as this power is permanently included in the Constitution.
