Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, has criticized the military cabinet and calls for its dissolution if the operation in the Gaza Strip is stopped, The Times of Israel reported.
«If anyone tries, God forbid, to stop the IDF [Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel] before Hamas has been defeated and all the hostages have been returned, he should note that Otzma Yehudit [partido conservador israelí] will not be with him,” said the minister.
«The idea of reducing activity in Gaza is a failure of war management by the small cabinet. It should be dismantled immediately. “The time has come to return the reins to the broader cabinet,” declared the leader of the right-wing party.
The war cabinet is made up of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and National Unity leader and minister without portfolio Benny Gantz, the three voting members, along with two observers, the Minister of Strategic Affairs, Ron Dermer, and Minister without Portfolio, Gadi Eisenkot.
