Al-Dakik celebrates the “FIFA Futsal” classification

On his birthday, national coach Hicham Dakik celebrated the Moroccan indoor football team’s ranking in sixth place in the world, in the first FIFA classification for Futsal.

Al-Dakik said: “Today, May 6, is my birthday, and FIFA celebrates with us and ranks Morocco sixth globally. Praise and thanks be to God Almighty.”

The Moroccan national indoor football team achieved a historic leap in the FIFA world rankings, surpassing major teams such as Russia and France.

Brazil topped the rankings with 1,568.41 points, followed by Portugal, Spain, Iran and Argentina, before Morocco in sixth place with 1,430 points.

This distinguished classification of the Moroccan indoor football team comes after its recent crowning of the African Cup of Nations title for the same game, “Morocco 2024,” and its qualification to the next World Cup finals scheduled to be hosted by Uzbekistan during the period extending between September 14 and October 6, 2024.
