New Delhi (Vishvas News). After the recent arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, an audio clip of him is going viral on social media, in which he can be heard talking about his arrest. Considering the audio clip as genuine, users are sharing it on different platforms.
Vishvas News found in its investigation that this audio clip of Arvind Kejriwal is AI created or synthetic media, which is being shared on social media by his party’s supporters. After being arrested, Kejriwal sent his message, which was made public by his wife Sunita Kejriwal.

investigation
Starting our investigation, first of all we listened to the audio carefully, we found the audio to be slightly different from the real voice of Arvind Kejriwal. On this basis, we took our investigation forward and in the search, we found a viral audio clip uploaded as a video on the X handle of Ruben Richard Mascarenas, Working President of AAP Mumbai, at 4:20 pm on March 23. According to the caption given here, ‘Arvind Kejriwal’s message from jail in his AI generated voice.’
Rubin Richard, while talking to Vishvas News about this audio clip, said, “This audio is AI generated. He did not create it, it was already available on the online platform and he simply shared it on his X handle with a disclaimer.
Taking the investigation further, we uploaded this audio clip to elevenlabs.io, an AI audio detection tool. According to the results found here, this is a manipulated audio clip.
Investigating further, we searched the news. On searching we found the news of Hindustan Times dated March 23. According to which, “Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Saturday read the message of her jailed husband to AAP workers and the people of Delhi. Kejriwal’s wife, quoting the Delhi Chief Minister, said that no jail can keep me inside, I will come out and fulfill my promises.

In the video, she is seen telling the message given by Kejriwal to the country and the people of Delhi. The content of this video has been made short and in English and has been prepared in the form of Kejriwal’s AI generated voice.
For confirmation related to the viral video, we contacted Aam Aadmi Party’s Chief Media Coordinator Vikas Yogi. Talking about this, he said, this audio clip is not of Kejriwal, he cannot give direct statement at the moment during custody.
