New Delhi: A 23-year-old man named Pankaj Singh Negi was found lying unconscious on the ground in the national capital, police said on Wednesday. On March 25, at around 10 pm, a PCR call was received at Maidangarhi police station regarding an incident in which a person was found lying unconscious in Rajpur Khurd Extension.
Police immediately reached the spot and found an unidentified body of a 23-year-old man lying on the ground. During interrogation, the deceased was identified as Pankaj Singh Negi, resident of Chirag, Delhi. Initial investigation by the police revealed that Pankaj Singh used to work as a bartender in a bar located in GK-2.
According to the police, Negi arrived extremely drunk to meet his female companion and had a heated argument with her. After the argument, Negi suddenly left, ignoring subsequent attempts to communicate with his acquaintance. Police said that in the investigation so far, it seems to be a case of suicide. Further investigation is going on to find out the full seriousness of the incident. (ANI)
